JAYNE CHACKO

Jayne Chacko is a reporter who strives to tell stories with compassion and respect. Jayne is currently working at News 8 WTNH in New Haven, Connecticut. She reports all over the nutmeg state, being a voice for the voiceless. 

Before coming to Connecticut, Jayne was a multimedia journalist at 13WHAM in Rochester, NY. She reported on civil unrest, the COVID-19 pandemic and gun violence. 

Jayne started her career at WBOC in Salisbury, Maryland as the bureau chief reporter for Sussex County in Delaware. 

She graduated in 2019 from Rutgers University with a bachelors degree in Journalism and American Studies.
